This is the Shadowrocket official guide. This page explains the scope of the site’s documentation, responsibilities when configuring the app, and how purchase information and external links are handled. Before following a tutorial, check the relevant requirements against your device, in-app prompts, and the App Store listing.
1. Site Content and Scope
This site provides guidance on verifying the official Shadowrocket app, getting it from the App Store, importing your existing materials, configuring rules, and troubleshooting. The documentation explains features and steps; it does not guarantee results for any particular network environment, connection, or use case. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app primarily for iPhone and iPad. Compatibility with other Apple devices and system requirements are listed on the App Store page.
Domains, rules, and parameters shown in examples illustrate syntax or troubleshooting logic only; they are not ready-to-use connection details. Review the conditions in each example before applying it to your configuration.
2. App Purchase and Connection Details
This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions, and does not activate, renew, or maintain connection services. Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Check their validity, access permissions, and accuracy with the provider.
A one-time app purchase is not a connection plan. Buying Shadowrocket grants a license to use the app; it does not include a server, data, or subscription. The app purchase and connection details are separate, and the status of one does not indicate whether the other is available.
3. Tutorial Accuracy and Interface Changes
Tutorials are based on the interface and features checked at the time of writing. App updates, system setting changes, and device differences may change where options appear, the wording of prompts, or the order of steps. Interface terms such as Home, Config, Global Routing, and On Demand remain in English to make them easy to match with the app.
We work to keep the documentation accurate and clear, but cannot guarantee that every section covers all conditions at all times. If a step does not match the current interface, stop before taking uncertain actions, check the in-app guidance, and review the prerequisites in the Getting Started Guide. Do not repeatedly change settings based only on outdated steps.
4. Configuration and User Responsibilities
Before importing a configuration, changing rules, or switching connection methods, keep a recoverable copy of your configuration, verify that the source is trustworthy, and understand which requests the rules may affect. Keep subscription URLs, passwords, and other credentials secure. When troubleshooting, avoid sharing complete content that may contain sensitive information.
Use the app only as permitted by applicable laws, network policies, and relevant service terms. Connection test results reflect conditions at the time of testing and do not guarantee ongoing availability or data security. Assess issues caused by incorrect details, configuration conflicts, or changes in network conditions based on their actual cause; tutorial examples alone cannot determine responsibility.
5. App Store Information and External Links
The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. Before buying, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. See the App Store Authenticity Check for verification steps.
Check the App Store listing and transaction prompts for current pricing, purchase terms, Family Sharing eligibility, restoration of previous purchases, compatibility, and system requirements. External product pages are maintained by their respective platforms; this site cannot control their content, availability, or transaction handling. Site information does not replace store terms or guarantee a price or refund outcome.
6. Limitation of Liability and Feedback
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site does not guarantee outcomes such as uninterrupted connections or preserved configurations when they result from relying solely on documentation, disregarding actual prompts, or using outdated information. This statement does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded, or affect rights you may have under applicable law.
For help with a procedure, check each step in the Getting Started Guide. For purchase, storefront region, or purchase restoration questions, see the App Store & Purchase Guide. When describing an issue, include the step, interface terms, and prompt text, and remove any credentials so the discrepancy can be identified accurately.
