Privacy Policy

This is the official website and guide for Shadowrocket for iOS. This policy applies when you browse the site and use its navigation. It explains what data the website handles, why it does so, and how you can manage it in your browser. It does not replace the privacy information shown in the Shadowrocket app or on the App Store.

1. Scope and access logs

This is a static content website. It has no user registration, sign-in, or email submission forms. You do not need to provide your name, email address, Apple ID, payment details, or connection credentials to read the guide. Do not enter passwords, subscription URLs, or server credentials in page addresses, query parameters, or anywhere else that may be publicly shared.

When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider may process technical records such as your IP address, request time, request path, response status, browser identifier, and referring page to deliver content and maintain the service. These records may be used to troubleshoot issues, protect security, and keep the site running. A static website can still generate access logs when you make network requests.

This site does not access Config, connection logs, or subscription and server details stored in the app, and it does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan. Your connection details are not purchased or recorded by this website.

2. Website analytics: scope and purpose

We use website analytics to understand which pages people read, how they navigate the site, and how often they click through to the App Store. This helps us improve the content structure, find broken links, and refine the getting-started guide. Analytics may include pages visited, visit times, referral categories, device and browser categories, and an approximate location inferred from network information. You are not asked to provide identifying information.

When you click the App Store button on the genuine app page, the site may record an App Store link click. This records an attempt to open the product page; it does not confirm a purchase or give us access to your Apple account, payment details, orders, or app usage. If your browser blocks analytics requests, you can still read pages and use site navigation.

3. Cookies and local storage

Cookies and local storage are managed by your browser. Whether analytics use cookies depends on the analytics setup in place and your browser's restrictions. This policy does not mean that every visit stores the same identifiers. The site does not use these mechanisms to store app connection credentials or payment details.

The language is determined by the page path, and section positions can be restored using the anchor in the address. These address-based states are not cookies. Your browser cache may also retain stylesheets, scripts, and images to reduce repeat downloads.

You can view, restrict, or clear this site's cookies, website data, and cache in your browser settings. Clearing them may reset your browsing state or cause resources to reload. Restricting analytics-related storage does not delete access logs already created by the hosting provider.

4. App Store and data handling boundaries

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store is the only place to get it: App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Once you leave this site, account verification, purchases, payments, and related data handling are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

This site does not process payments, ask you to submit proof of purchase, or collect App Store passwords. For information about data handled by the app, consult the App Store privacy details and the app's settings; this website's analytics do not indicate how the app behaves on the network. Check the App Store page for device compatibility and system requirements.

5. Policy updates and questions

If our analytics, browser storage, or data handling changes, we will update the relevant terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” month at the top. Any change that introduces a new purpose for data processing will be clearly explained. Please review this page before continuing to browse.

This page has no form for submitting personal information. For common questions about page controls, first-time permissions, or existing configurations, see the getting-started guide. For questions about App Store accounts, purchases, or restoring purchases, see the App Store & Purchase guide. When troubleshooting, avoid sharing complete URLs or screenshots that contain credentials.
